Job Summary:
J.B. Hunt is expanding our digital team! This team will collaborate on campaign management, data analysis, and digital strategy to drive strong results for J.B. Hunt. We're hiring a Digital Marketing Manager, who will work closely with our Digital Media Buyer and Digital Marketing Analyst to review the effectiveness of our campaigns to make informed, data-driven decisions. This person will be able to take a step back to think about J.B. Hunt's success holistically and down at an individual campaign level (3+ years of experience).

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Manage the development and implementation of our digital marketing strategies.
  • Build relationships with media vendors and stay up to date with emerging industry trends that may improve our campaign performance.
  • Oversee marketing analytics and reporting to assess the effectiveness and accuracy of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Effectively summarize our digital marketing strategies and performance updates to coworkers and leadership with varying levels of marketing knowledge.
  • Understanding business needs, develop comprehensive digital media plans that compliment overall strategies.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to support overall business goals.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Manage marketing related Google Tag Manager updates.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Media Buying or Marketing Analytics role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in a position where analytical skills were used regularly.
  • Awareness of online marketing best practices.
  • Experience in managing B2B campaigns on ad platforms is preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and capable of creating solutions and solving problems.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive digital media plans.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Fast learner who will embrace the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel), and basic knowledge of CRMs.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager preferred.
  • Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, Google Analytics certifications a plus.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field with at least 5 years of digital analytics, buyer, and/or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Ads, Google Analytics and Facebook certifications highly preferred; experience with tools like Domo, Tableau, Marketo, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, etc.
  • Power BI, Google Data Studio, SQL, Big Query
  • Experience with data mining, modeling, and management
  • Ability to strategically plan and manage relationships
  • Possess advanced excel skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Domo and Tableau
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 360 and/or similar programs
