Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position manages a team of mid to high level individual contributors within marketing function for specific internal or business groups. This position works directly with mixed level employees/executives and internal and/or external teams in implementing marketing and communications plans to attain maximum effectiveness and productivity. This role will drive marketing engagement and identify opportunities to increase revenue and achieve key strategic objectives.   

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of recruitment marketing websites.
  • Manage website project list including queued, current and completed projects.
  • Provide technical and on-page SEO best practice recommendations for content strategy, including keyword management.
  • Champion best practices regarding the measurement of ad effectiveness, especially as it relates to marketing effectiveness and multi-channel campaign optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor partnerships to shape new opportunities that can enhance our ability to meet hiring goals .
  • Provide decision making support for business partners by working with the team to define problems or desired outcomes, determine required information, compile findings, and recommend action.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to drive a deeper understanding of paid media efforts to identify growth areas .
  • Develop and execute campaign plans from start to finish and optimize results including open rates, click through rates, engagement, and conversions.
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing and email campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and evaluate end-to-end experience across multiple channels and touch points.
  • Maintain an updated status report on project elements with clear action items and deliverables and follow-up with team members and agency as needed to ensure all project elements are on track.
  • Assists within marketing automation software development of audience segmentation strategies.
  • Participates in regular discussions with third-party agencies and services providers to optimize use of all digital campaign strategies and tactical execution. Ideate marketing initiatives centered on the customer journey.
  • Assist with monitoring and analysis of campaign performance within the company’s analytics tools.
  • Define marketing vision, sets goals, clarifies objectives, and works across organizations to achieve specific, well-defined outcomes
  • Specialized tasks determined based upon need
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals designated in a specialty area (i.e. design, video, content, PR, digital, etc.)
  • Track and report all marketing KPIs and activities, providing actionable insights for improvement and growth
  • May own the full-stack marketing portfolio for a mid to large-sized internal customer(s) which includes pitches, marketing communication, digital marketing, content production, social media, and offline events such as trade shows
  • Collaborate with an array of cross-functional team members and external vendors to continually increase marketing's contribution to revenue
  • Research and devise content marketing and brand awareness strategies, measuring the effectiveness of content efforts, e.g. customer/visitors engagement and communication effectiveness
  • Foster and mentor staff
  • Research industry trends, collect and compile articles and information from internal and external resources for the company’s use
  • Generate content for email, blogs, social media, video scripts, press releases, white papers, case studies, testimonials and more for internal and external client needs
  • Direct, motivate, and develop project plans and timelines
  • Develop and deliver content creation and management strategies and plans across all marketing channels (websites, social media, promotional commercials, etc.), in alignment with brand voice and business goals
  • Measure and optimize content on a regular and ongoing basis

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications, Advertising, Journalism, English or a similar degree area with at least 5 years related marketing experience required and management experience, overseeing a combination of projects OR High School degree or equivalent with 7 years direct experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration with up to 5 or more years management experience, overseeing a combination of projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Considerable knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Management of collaborative projects from ideation through planning and execution
  • Budget management experience
  • A history of coaching, leading, and influencing in order to foster a collaborative and creative environment
