Job Summary:
J.B. Hunt is expanding our digital team! This team will collaborate on campaign management, data analysis, and digital strategy to drive strong results for J.B. Hunt. We're hiring a Digital Media Buyer who will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on management of our digital campaigns. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, extremely organized, and has a positive attitude.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage online marketing campaigns through Facebook, Google, Bing, etc.
  • Daily campaign analysis to drive ongoing optimization.
  • Coordinate with the creative team on digital creative needs and is responsible for regular ad creation and testing.
  • Builds relationships with media vendors and stays up to date with emerging industry trends that may improve the performance of our campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to support overall business goals.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns to make informed, data-driven decisions.

The Ideal Candidate Is:

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Media Buying or Marketing Analytics role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in a position where analytical skills were used regularly.
  • Awareness of online marketing best practices.
  • Experience in managing digital B2B and lead generation campaigns is preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and capable of creating solutions and solving problems.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive digital media plans.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Fast learner who will embrace the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel), and basic knowledge of CRMs.
  • Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, Google Analytics certifications a plus.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field with at least 3 years as a Media Buyer or Marketing analytics role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in digital media is preferred Google Ads, Google Analytics and Facebook Blueprint certifications highly preferred
  • Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
  • Interest in following advertising and media trends
  • Working knowledge of media analytics software
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Precise and effective communication skills and ability to influence others
  • Strong sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads and Facebook Ads platforms
  • CRM: Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar
