Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position is an mid-level, project-management position. The incumbent will provide overall management of maintenance projects for a specific technical area to ensure organizational needs are met; supervises project progress and forecasts future need. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer systems and programs to manage the planning, execution, control, and closure of individual maintenance projects for the organization
  • Maintain the company's safety culture by promoting a safe work environment in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Ensure goals are met and assist with establishing operational procedures
  • Manage records and maintain reporting, present information on a regular cadence to maintenance leadership
  • Assist management with forecasting future department needs and opportunities
  • Manage and utilize materials, facilities, and data; oversee project costs and project performance
  • Collaborate with team and/or other department-teams to improve quality of department's performance
  • Interact with internal and/or external contractors or vendors to determine project requirements to ensure that all project goals are being addressed
  • May develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and status reports to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record as per JBH standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively
  • Ability to document information and make quick decisions
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to run queries, utilize SQL, and perform basic analytics
  • Advanced skillset in data entry and use of Excel
  • Understanding of industrial real estate (purchasing, sales, pricing, property evaluations)
  • Basic understanding of industrial and commercial leasing and lease documents
  • Experienced in industrial and commercial construction
  • Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic budget management knowledge
  • Proficient project management experience
  • Customer Service skills
  • Make sound financial decisions

Education:
GED (Required), High School (Required)

Work Experience:
Facilities Management, Maintenance, Project Management, Transportation/Logistics

Certifications:
Commercial Driver's License - Class A - Department of Transportation
