Job Summary:
Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for participating in software development tasks as part of an engineering team. This position is designed to give students the opportunity to extend their classroom learning and receive industry experience, while still completing their degree. We offer both Summer and year-round internships. During the semester, interns work 18 hour per week, while during the summer program internships increase to 40 hour per week. These roles have the opportunity to rotate between departments, as open positions become available.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist mentor with coding, debugging, testing, and documenting computer applications

• Learn to diagnose systems problems

• Perform limited analysis and design tasks

• Expand knowledge of the transportation industry and related systems

• Regularly connect with leadership assigned to you


Minimum Qualification: Must be currently enrolled in technology related degree program at an accredited academic institution. Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75, with a 3.0 in the major field of study. Be able to work at least 18hours a week during the school semester.

Preferred Qualification: Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled (or have just completed) a course of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or applicable degree field at an accredited university or junior college.

Associates: Computer Engineering, Associates: Industrial Engineering, Associates: Information Technology, High School (Required), GED (Required)
