Job Summary:
Under close supervision, this position performs clerical activities such as financial data entry, record keeping and data gathering for reporting purposes.  

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Following established methods and procedures for financial record keeping and reporting

• Follow established methods and procedures for financial record keeping and reporting

• Retrieve data as requested within an appropriate time frame; assist senior staff in resolving any discrepancies in reports

• Assist in preparation of various basic financial reports • Review financial reports to ensure accurate and thorough data entry of financial information

• Retrieving data as requested within an appropriate time frame; assisting senior staff in resolving any discrepancies in reports

• Responding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems

• Posting basic entries, verifying and reconciling basic input to financial reporting systems


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1-2 years of Finance experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Ability to adapt
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while dealing with difficult individuals
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team
  • Basic deductive reasoning skills
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Self-motivated.
