Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for ensuring shop inventory is available and accessible for shop technicians.  

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer item-related questions, troubleshoot parts issues and inquiries from inventory locations and Fleet Support
  • Manage equipment bill of materials
  • Create new Item Numbers to be managed by internal Inventory Locations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports
  • Maintain part levels at a sustainable level for technicians for repairs

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2-3 years related experience and/or training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively
  • Ability to document information and make quick decisions
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team
  • Ability to work with under minimal direction
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
