Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for ensuring shop inventory is available and accessible for shop technicians.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: - Answer item-related questions, troubleshoot parts issues and inquiries from inventory locations and Fleet Support
- Manage equipment bill of materials
- Create new Item Numbers to be managed by internal Inventory Locations
- Other duties as assigned
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports
- Maintain part levels at a sustainable level for technicians for repairs
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2-3 years related experience and/or training.
Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively
- Ability to document information and make quick decisions
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Ability to work with under minimal direction
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Customer Service skills
- Organization skills
