Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the oversight of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Program and leadership of the GRC team. This position will be responsible for the design and implementation of the GRC framework, policies and procedures, tools, programs and reporting consistent with the regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises assigned personnel, allocates work, and makes decisions regarding performance appraisal, training, and development.
  • Creates an inclusive work environment that enhances employee engagement and enables all employees to reach their full potential.
  • Helps design and maintain an integrated risk management framework.
  • Develops risk management strategies within the context of the company’s risk appetite and strategic objectives.
  • Develops and implements related policies, standards, processes, and procedures to help ensure that risks are identified, measured, monitored, and reported in an effective and consistent manner.
  • Provides periodic evaluations and reports to management on the company’s risk profile, internal control environment and key risk and performance metrics.
  • Oversees the design and management of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform consistent with the risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Ensures risk management documentation is developed and maintained.
  • Researches a wide variety of topics and issues including regulatory matters, emerging risks and trends and risk management best practices.
  • Effectively communicates the company’s risk culture, policies, processes, practices and procedures to internal stakeholders, auditors, internal audit, and others.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 4 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance or Operational Risk Management. 
  • Strong intellectual capacity to understand businesses, strategies and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, carry out and lead complex assignments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and analytical skills required along with the ability to manage and work independently under pressure and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
