We Value
Your Service
At J.B. Hunt, we value the character and skills that veterans bring to the transportation logistics industry. With nearly one in seven J.B. Hunt employees being a military veteran, we are fully committed to hiring and supporting veterans.

When we say we support veterans, we mean it. In 2014, J.B. Hunt pledged to hire 10,000 veterans by 2020. We achieved that goal and are expanding our military program to provide more support for military veterans than ever before, with an ongoing goal of hiring 1,600 veterans per year.
The J.B. Hunt family is made up of drivers, mechanics and office employees. No matter your interests or skills, explore our open positions to find your next career move.

Supporting Military Veterans
We support our veteran employees through various training and development programs, company initiatives and community partnerships designed to ease the transition to civilian life.
Training and Development
J.B. Hunt implements several training and development programs, like our SkillBridge Internship program and mentorship initiatives, to provide support and resources for transitioning service members and their spouses. We also offer specialized training for current J.B. Hunt managers and supervisors, so they understand ways to best support their veteran or active duty employees in their civilian careers.
Commitment to Active Duty Support
We are proud to have so many people who have served this country on our team, and appreciate the sacrifices of our active military employees and their families. J.B. Hunt provides a complete military deployment and reentry guide, as well as make-whole and differential pay, to help veterans and active members of the military manage their military responsibilities and their jobs at J.B. Hunt.
Community Partnership
J.B. Hunt collaborates with several non-profit organizations to be able to provide financial assistance, job training, placement services and job accommodations for transitioning service members and disabled veterans. Veterans, and those who support our service members, can also get involved in the community and with J.B. Hunt through our Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG).
