Tractor Mechanics maintain vehicle fleets that are on average three years old, and are responsible for servicing and maintaining engine and brake systems, replacing parts and components as needed.
Trailer Mechanic
Trailer Mechanics focus on the maintenance, service and repair of J.B. Hunt trailing equipment, containers and other trailing equipment. Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting any issues and competing processes to make sure our fleet is always up to company standards.
Mobile Mechanic
Our Mobile Mechanic teams consist of both tractor and trailer professionals who respond to road-side break downs and maintenance needs when equipment is unable to make it to the shop.
Breakdown Coordinator
Our Breakdown Coordinators are responsible for resolving equipment issues with drivers and vendors when breakdowns occur. They're required to make safe, cost-effective decisions that get our equipment back up and running in a timely manner.
Maintenance Management
