Job Summary:
Under close supervision, this position will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services.
Job Description:
***Please note: this internship is for immediate hire, and will continue throughout the academic year including, but not limited to, Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.*** The successful candidate for this role will: - Train with all rail operations personnel on all shifts, in order to gain a thorough understanding of intermodal rail operations.
- Work various shifts alongside full-time rail operations personnel, as schedule allows.
- Work on small special projects, as able to be completed during internship.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
What does it take to be considered? Must be enrolled in a 4-year university degree program, preferably majoring in a transportation-related degree. Other desired skills: - Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high momentum environment
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills
- Must possess strong computer skills, including typing and Microsoft Office programs
