Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible to guide and oversee service truck maintenance technicians, ensure ongoing and mandatory employee safety training is performed, work closely with the Area Maintenance manager, account managers and conduct audits, safety inspections and unsafe act identification of service trucks and technicians. Monitor and audit repairs, do quality inspections of work performed, data entry of repair orders and reviewing and closing of same. Review repair orders for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall safety for employees, training, and observations. Recognize safety achievements.
  • Audit and set schedules for service trucks and technicians to maximize direct time and to impact the most available equipment.
  • Monitor and oversee CSA inspections
  • Provide quality inspections of work performed.
  • Review Scorecard for compliance.
  • Monitor SRT, Direct time and idle time.
  • Perform annual evaluations for technicians
  • Develop and monitor a budget.
  • Provide inventory management, cycle counts of inventory, tire, and tools as per policy and procedures.
  • Perform data entry, review repair orders and close repair orders.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.


Minimum Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience and 1-2 years of direct or indirect management experience
  • Preferred Qualification: Ability to act professionally
  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively
  • Ability to document information and make quick decisions
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with under minimal direction.

GED (Required), High School (Required)
