Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position manages a team of People Support Center representatives and specialists by directing them in their day-to-day responsibilities. The incumbent manages and monitors performance, handles business operations such as staffing schedules, and works with team to resolve escalated customer service issues. The position requires direct management of a team of employees and manages direct allocation of team members based on business needs, prioritization, etc.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of People Support Center team members in responding to HR-related inquiries and providing guidance and resolution to all types of HR-related issues utilizing policy and procedural guidelines
- Hire, develop, and facilitate high performance and engagement of staff
- Administer individual and team performance metrics; manage staff and develop individuals' performance
- Assess the capabilities and workload of the team using appropriate metrics to determine the best utilization of resources to meet the business needs
- Support leadership in the development and coordination of company-wide people-related programs and policies
- Forecast future call volume and monitor hold time, length of call, transfers, and unavailable time to ensure People Support Center team is meeting acceptable call center standards
- Support the development and implementation of People Support Center procedures
- Provide self-service and personalized guidance to maintain the accuracy and completeness of personnel records; enforce a high level of data integrity and protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in the HRIS
- Assist in the identification, design and development of People Support Center analytics and measurement goals; support the development of processes and procedures using available data to drive automation, efficiency and maximize productivity
- Support HR technology and application testing, implementations and/or updates
- Consult with HR Centers of Expertise, Compliance, Internal Auditors, and other business professionals to ensure People Support Center practices and policies administered successfully and adhere to federal, state and local regulations and guidelines
- Oversee review and audit of HR data and records within the HRIS system on a regular basis; direct the correction of errors to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Build strong working partnerships with other internal departments, business units and senior management to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies
- Support management of various People Operations vendors including periodic performance reporting; communicate with vendors to ensure employee requests, inquiries, and problems are resolved promptly; ensure adherence to required service levels
- Perform additional administrative duties as the need arises
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Finance, Communications, Psychology or related field with 2 or more years of HR experience; OR 4 years of combined relevant HR experience, education and training
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office365
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Finance, Communications, Psychology or related field
- OR 5-7 years of relevant HR experience
- 1-2 years of experience leading a team
- Experience with HRIS, HRMS, and/or Talent Management systems
- Spanish or other multilingual capability
