Job Summary:
Job Profile Summary Under administrative direction, this position manages and executes all aspects of financial management, control, analysis and planning. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial analysis for business units in the organization. They work with business leaders to develop and manage to financial plans. Additionally, this role is accountable for the financial performance measurement and management process. This individual will develop business plans, resource modeling and financial guidance for assigned groups, as well as provide financial/accounting support by managing and monitoring revenue and capital expense budgets.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of business units or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
  • Prepare, review, and/or report on monthly financial reports, analyses, forecasts, executive management summaries and/or quarterly earnings releases.
  • Execute and oversee special projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage, plan, or implement business or organizational policies, objectives, or activities to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, or increase productivity.
  • Install, maintain, or recommend changes to the accounting and budgeting systems and/or processes.
  • Cooperate with internal auditors, public accountants, federal tax examiners, and other financial professionals to resolve accounting and control deficiencies.
  • Execute department strategy and lead team in identifying, analyzing and/or solving accounting/financial problems including compiling financial reports for timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Assess existing and proposed financial plans and policies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s financial administration

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business Finance, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training in a related field; and 6-8 years of related experience with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA preferred; 3-5 years of Operational experience
  • Ability to adapt

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to multitask
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience managing/supervising a team
  • Interest in learning new technologies/software applications

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.

Accounting/Payroll, Auditing, Finance, Management-Mid Level

Certifications:
Certified Public Accountant - National Association of State Board of Accountancy (US)
