Since its launch in 2015, employees have submitted over 33,000 ideas, each one offering new ways to support our people, improve technology and processes and create more opportunities to deliver excellence. Everyone Has a Voice with ELEVATION

J.B. Hunt’s ELEVATION program is a cornerstone of our commitment to employee empowerment, encouraging team members to think creatively and contribute meaningful ideas. It’s one of the key ways we give everyone a chance to make their voice heard. With any idea submission, our ELEVATION team will carefully review it for impact and feasibility. Every idea, whether it's a new suggestion or something already implemented, empowers our employees to share their transformative solutions. Their contributions have the potential to be adopted and could be used by more than 33,000 J.B. Hunt employees every day.

Meet Some of Our Innovators

Recently, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of ELEVATION by inviting everyone to our annual Wall of Fame ceremony, where several employees were recognized for their approved ideas. As part of the tradition, their names were added to the ELEVATION wall — becoming a lasting part of J.B. Hunt history. Meet two employees that were honored at the event and had their very own ELEVATION ideas approved.

Meet Bradon

Bradon, a shop supervisor, began his career at J.B. Hunt in 2017 as a trailer mechanic in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Over the years, Bradon has worked hard to promote from within the company. Because of his experience on the shop floor, Bradon quickly identified a recurring battery-related issue affecting operations. After speaking with several technicians to validate the problem, he submitted his idea through ELEVATION. His idea was approved and will help technicians streamline their processes, boost administrative efficiency and reduce costs.

Meet Perry

Since starting his career at J.B. Hunt in June 2020, Perry has quickly advanced to his current role as a Manager II on our Truckload team. In this position, he manages the movement of our J.B. Hunt 360box® trailers, ensuring they’re positioned correctly for drivers to pick up the trailer and deliver customer freight. Together with the J.B. Hunt maintenance team, Perry tackled a recurring challenge faced by the Network Planning team — streamlining how we connect with approved third-party vendors to locate trailers before they’re considered lost. His ELEVATION idea was approved and will soon be implemented, helping improve trailer recovery and ensuring timely delivery for our customers.

ELEVATION is more than just a program — it’s a reflection of our people’s creativity, dedication and commitment to doing what’s best for our company and our customers.
